What exactly do I receive when I purchase a document?
+
You receive three things: (1) the standard attorney-drafted template as a DOCX file, (2) a fully AI-customised version with your specific party names, amounts, and deal terms filled in, and (3) a PDF version. You also get access to the interactive clause editor where you can click any clause and receive three AI-generated alternatives.
Is this real legal advice from a lawyer?
+
No. BizLegal AI provides document templates and AI-assisted drafting tools — not legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed. The templates are crafted by Advocate Dor (LLB+LLM, notary, commercial arbitrator) with 20+ years of experience, but you should always have qualified legal counsel review any agreement before execution.
What is a Due Diligence Report and who is it for?
+
The Due Diligence Report ($250) is for anyone who has received a contract and wants to understand the risks before signing. You upload a PDF or DOCX, and Claude analyzes every clause — flagging red flags by severity, identifying missing protections, scoring overall risk 1–10, and recommending specific fixes. It is delivered to your email instantly. It is designed for business owners, investors, brokers, and founders who need a rapid risk assessment without paying attorney hourly rates.
How is the Due Diligence Report different from a DocStack template?
+
They solve different problems. A DocStack template generates a new agreement from scratch for your deal. A Due Diligence Report analyzes an existing contract someone else sent you. They work together: the DD Report might identify that the contract you received is missing an arbitration clause — and then suggest the specific DocStack template you need to replace it.
Which jurisdictions do the documents cover?
+
All documents are drafted under New York law with AAA arbitration clauses. New York commercial law is widely recognized and often selected by parties across the US and internationally for its predictability. For non-US deals or specific state requirements, you should consult local counsel.
Can I edit the documents after downloading?
+
Yes. All documents are delivered as DOCX files, fully editable in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any word processor. You can also use the interactive editor on the site before downloading — clicking any clause to see AI-generated alternatives (Stronger / Balanced / Simpler).
What payment methods do you accept?
+
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal through our secure PayPal payment gateway. All transactions are one-time payments — there are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or hidden fees.
What is your refund policy?
+
We offer a 24-hour refund window for unused documents. Once Claude has generated your customised document (i.e., the generation process has completed), we are unable to offer refunds as the AI processing has been performed. For the Due Diligence Report, refunds are not available once the analysis has been delivered. Please see our full Refund Policy for details.
Are the FinTech documents (SAFT, Credit Facility, etc.) compliant with US regulations?
+
The templates reflect standard commercial practice and include relevant regulatory references (SEC, FINRA, PCI DSS, etc.). However, fintech regulation is complex and jurisdiction-specific. The SAFT template, for example, includes accredited investor representation — but token issuances require securities law counsel. Use these as starting frameworks, not final compliance documents.
How is my contract data handled when I upload for Due Diligence?
+
Your uploaded contract is sent to Claude (Anthropic) for analysis and is not stored by BizLegal AI beyond the analysis session. We do not retain copies of uploaded contracts. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details. Do not upload contracts containing personal data regulated under GDPR without appropriate consideration.
Can I use BizLegal AI for my clients (as a lawyer or broker)?
+
Yes. Many professionals use BizLegal AI as a rapid drafting starting point. Note that if you are a licensed attorney, your own professional rules of conduct apply — you remain responsible for reviewing and certifying any document you provide to a client. BizLegal AI is a tool, not a replacement for professional judgment.
What makes these templates different from free ones online?
+
Three things: (1) They are attorney-structured by Advocate Dor with 20+ years of real transaction experience — not assembled from generic internet sources. (2) They include provisions most free templates omit: Force Majeure (pandemic + cyberattack), Wire Fraud Warning, AAA Arbitration, E-SIGN Act compliance, and Exhibit A/B. (3) They are AI-customised with your specific deal terms — not blank forms.
